STEVEN KIRKHAM, MD

Dr. Kirkham received his undergraduate degree from Miami University and then received his medical degree from The Ohio State University in 1991. He remained at Ohio State at the William H. Havener Eye Center for Ophthalmology training and came to Marion in 1995.
He was board certified in 1996. Dr. Kirkham’s special areas of interest include specialized cataract surgery, premium lens implants and astigmatism correction, medical and laser treatment of diabetes and glaucoma.

NICHOLAS MOORE, MD
Marion and Delaware
Dr. Moore received his undergraduate degree from Miami University in 2011 graduating with Summa Cum Laude distinction. He went on to earn his medical degree from Wright State University in 2015 where he graduated at the top of his class and was elected into Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He completed his Ophthalmology training at Indiana University School of Medicine and served as the chief teaching resident until 2019 after which he joined the Marion Eye Center.

John Kroger, MD
Marion and Delaware
Dr. Kroger received his undergraduate degree from Ohio State University in 2012 graduating with a degree in Biological Sciences. He obtained his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine in 2017. He then completed his Ophthalmology training at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. He returned to Ohio to complete a fellowship in Cornea and External Disease at the Ohio State University and came on to join Marion and Delaware Eye Centers in 2022.

FILMORE RIEGO, MD

Dr. Riego received his Ophthalmology training at Temple University in Philadephia, PA.
He has been a practicing, board-certified, medical and surgical ophthalmologist in Marion for the past 30 years and joined Marion Eye Center’s group in April 2002. Dr. Riego entered into partial retirement in 2022 and is continuing to help with patient care a few days each month when his expertise is needed.
